OMAR PEÑA, 

better known as “El Chiko De La Kalle”, originates from Cuernavaca, Morelos. Mexico. His radio career began in 2009 at Amp Radio in Los Angles as one of the weekend host. Shortly after, He moves to Exitos 93.9fm As part of their Street team. His successful run in LA allowed him to master the art of radio, as well as his First language, Spanish.

When learning that a station in Santa Ana, CA his hometown and where he grew up, was hiring. He took a risk by leaving LA determined to become a permanent voice in Orange County. It paid off; Omar enjoyed a successful 11-year run as Part of KWIZ 96.7fm, a Estrella Media radio station. In 2020, he was relocated to KRQB 96.1fm in Ontario, CA. also a Estrella Media station, he is currently Working in Burbank CA, for KBUE 105.5FM/94.3FM | KRQB 96.1FM | Estrella TV Canal 62. 

His genuine connection to people has allowed “El Chiko De La Kalle” to extend His career to various parts of entertainment including; radio & TV hosting, blogging, writing, and Even red carpet coverage. He is well-known in the Latin-American community for helping and donating his time at different charity events.

Omar credits his free spirit as the inspiration to seize every opportunity that presents itself. He views radio as an outlet to express His love, happiness, and ambitions with the masses. His passions include music, representing Latino culture in a positive light, and sharing His stories of success to motivate others.
